Be Encouraged

Recently I was talking with a woman who asked the purpose of this blog. I told her it is a Christian blog to encourage believers in their journey. I got to thinking about that and I wonder if I am sending enough encouragement your way. It’s been a tough couple of years for many and every day I hear how discouraged people are. If we fill our minds with what’s wrong with our world or what’s hard in our lives, our faith can be weakened and we can lose hope.

So this week, I want to send you some encouragement and hope. Take a few minutes and read through this scripture about who we are in Christ and what God says about us. Meditate on the verses that are most encouraging for you. Pray them over yourself (and others), write some down on index cards or post-it notes to leave around the house to lift your spirits during the day.

Be encouraged, friend. God is your hope and future!
