I’ve never considered myself to be graceful – full of grace. In fact, sometimes I’m just the opposite. For example, take an incident that occurred at the Garden Tomb in Israel recently.
Satan loves to distract us with things, both trivial and life-altering, that will take our focus off of Jesus. The enemy is an expert at creating diversionary tactics to keep us from doing the things we can only do if we keep our eyes on our Savior.
If you’re a mother you know that we all make mistakes in raising our children. But I believe that most mothers (me included) do the very best we can.
When my life is going well, I can take my relationship with God for granted. I can become complacent about spending time before the Lord, believing that I have everything I need and more. Sometimes being blessed is an excuse to coast in my relationship with Christ.
To be delighted means to be highly pleased, to take great pleasure in, to approve. Did you know God feels this way about us? He tells us so in the Bible.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Melody Beattie
