We may never understand why we experience loss in this life. One thing we can know for certain, God will take anything that happens to us and cause it to work out for good. Romans 8:28 ESV
Our God, the God of the universe, maker of Heaven and Earth, wants nothing more than to be intimately connected with us, His creation. He desires a personal relationship with each one of us.
When my kids were very young and we went somewhere, as we got out of the car I would remind them to hold my hand. I knew how quickly little bodies can dart out in front of moving vehicles before even noticing that they are there. It was in their best interest to hold my hand so I could keep them safe.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Melody Beattie
God is not limited. He can do the impossible. I’m so grateful for God’s promises in his Word. I can go to these promises and read them again, knowing that the One who has promised will be faithful to fulfill his word.
I allow certain things to pile up in my “temple” that have no business being there, and before long I am crowding out the abundant life that God promised when I surrendered everything to Him.
I love flowers. The colors. The shapes. The extravagant beauty. There is something about blooming flowers that puts me in a good mood.
