So you’ve just had a fuss with a close friend or family member. A conversation that starts as a calm discussion turns into an angry quarrel. What can you do when the disagreement has put a wedge in your relationship? How can you tear down the newly built walls and begin to mend the fences?
When things are done that cannot be undone, what healing and hope is there for those struck down in the wake of another’s sin? God wants to help us heal.
In Colossians 3, Paul talks about our new life in Christ. He tells us that we are to take off the old nature that was led by worldly desires. In place of that, we are to “clothes ourselves” with our new nature. And he lists these items of spiritual clothing in Colossians 3:12-14.
